Few minutes after they played a dozen songs Nick wrote on an improvised jam session. What was happening, they liked very much and a week after Boris [guitar] joined the band. Their first official gig was in January 2005 after a month of repetition. Followed up few successful live performances came their decisionto record a demo. CARDIODRIVE are: Nikolay Kostikov – vocals, bass He was born on 7th of April in 1976 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He started playing guitar when he was 18 after finishing a humanities high school in 1994. After that he entered Plovdiv University and had studied English Philology and Pedagogics, including courses like Theory of music, Harmony and Musical practice. He also took a semester of Mechanical Egineering in University of Aachen in Deutschland in 2003. But his biggest passion is music and he is entirely devoted to it. Till CARDIODRIVE he had played with lots of different musicians experimenting throughout variety of styles like jazz, fusion, alternative rock, etc. He also plays acoustic and electric guitar, synthesizers. Boris Spasov – guitars He was born on 12th of December in 1980 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He is dedicated to music since he was 7. Following his father’s steps he finished musical college in Plovdiv and after that he had two semesters in Acadamy of Music in Plovdiv. He also plays piano, synthesizers, programming and backing vocals. He has a very strong experience of making music and playing live. Till CARDIODRIVE he had played in several bands and was part of two studio projects. Vladislav Hristov – drums He was born 22nd of August in 1981 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He is naturally involved playing drums since he was born, because of the fact that his father and his bigger brother are drummers themselves. Following that strong family tradition till CARDIODRIVE he had played in eight bands and few studio projects.
